What to expect in your first class

1
A warm welcome
Yvette will help you get settled. Let her know it's your first class and ask about anything you're unsure of.

2
A gentle introduction
You'll be shown the exercises, with time to listen, try them and ask questions.

3
Go at your own pace
Choose the option that suits you and take a break whenever you need to. There’s no pressure to keep up.
Which class should I choose?
If you’re new to Pilates, you can start with either Gentle Pilates & Stretch or Mat Pilates.
If you’d like more individual attention, Small Group Pilates is limited to just four people. With fewer people in the class, there’s more time to check your movements, help with your technique and give you guidance as you go.
Not sure which one?
If it’s your first time doing Pilates, Gentle Pilates & Stretch is a lovely place to start. It’s a little slower paced, giving you more time to learn the movements and get comfortable as you go.
What do I need to bring?
You don’t need much, just a few essentials to help you feel comfortable.
Before your first class
If you have an injury, a health condition or any concerns about taking part, get in touch before class so you can talk it through.
You’re always welcome to ask questions. There’s no need to know the exercises in advance.
Ready to book a Pilates class?
Come along, stretch out and spend 45 minutes moving your body. I’ll guide you through the exercises, with options so you can work at your own pace.
